Restoration Process and Pricing

 Photo restoration and retouching is a subjective art. Some photos appear at first glance to be extremely damaged. In reality, they require a moderate restoration. It is impossible to give a quote without first seeing the photo or a scan of the photo. Work will not begin until the quote has been approved and the work to be done is confirmed.  

 For a photo restoration quote, you can scan your photo and email it to Photos Made New, or bring the photo to us in Tucker, Georgia. 

If you scan the photo using your printer's scanner, Scan the photo as a PHOTO - not a document- and email the scan to:

If you cannot scan your photo, a FedEx, UPS or office supply store will be able to scan it for you. Just be sure to tell them you need a PHOTO (.jpg), not a document. Or, if you are in the Atlanta area, call Photos Made New to arrange an appointment to bring your photos to me in Tucker, Georgia.

When your photo is received, it will be given the attention and care that I would give my own photos. I know this is more than a photo, it is a connection to ancestors or a special memory. 

When the restoration is complete, you will be able to view a watermarked copy of your photo restoration online for approval. 

The next step is arranging payment and delivery. Payment options are listed below. We can mail your photo to you, or you can pick it up.

An 8x10 or 5x7 photo is included. If you want a photo larger than 8x10, arrangements for printing can be made. See "Prints of Your Photo" below.  

Restoration Prices

Minor Photo Restoration - $25.00-$40.00
Moderate Photo Restoration - $40.00-$70.00
Major Photo Restoration -  $70.00 and up

Prices depend upon the condition of the photograph and the severity of the damage.

You can pay thru PayPal. Upon completion of your approved restoration, we will send you and invoice via email. It will contain a link so you can pay through PayPal.
 

We accept payments through Zelle. If you live nearby, and prefer to pick up your photo, we accept cash.

If you prefer, we will provide an invoice by mail and you can pay by check or money order. In the case of a check, the restored photo will not be mailed to you until the check clears.
